
I began my media career in the music business, but got lured away from Denmark Street by the booming events industry, where I learned how create an event from scratch - anytime, anywhere - with clients such as BMW and Walt Disney. The more you learn, the more you want to know. My next move took me into the advertising world and I was introduced to copywriting. Some things are just meant to be.
Over the next few years I worked with some of the very best at SSC&B LIntas, ABM, DMM, AMV and Lowe. I moved into new business development, writing presentations and working with serious brands across Europe and the USA. I learned about global campaigns, media planning and consumer behaviour.
A sidestep into a PR role for a City institution enabled me to combine event management with media relations and writing: I worked with the British Olympic Team & their sponsors in the run up to the Calgary and Seoul Games of 1989, and then spent time as a freelance at the Telegraph, English Heritage, Planet 24. Inevitably I set up my first company and went solo.
What I do now can best be described as making people look good. My clients are a clever, talented bunch, and talent should always shine - but sometimes it needs a little added expertise. For more about how it works have a look at what my clients say.
